“Who am I? What am I? Who is that??”
Join us on a musical adventure exploring the hidden world inside your head (and a bit more besides…). The week aims to explore individual’s conflict, family, relationships, successes and joys through the world of musical theatre. A chance to work closely with well renowned musical director Michael Lovelock and to further develop individuals understanding and knowledge of musical theatre.

Michael is returning to the Palace Theatre at Redditch this coming July as musical director for the Palace Youth Theatre’s production of Bugsy Malone.

Over a period of just over two months Michael taught the songs (and a little vocal technique) to the cast, many of whom had never sung before in a production. In that short period of time the cast mastered the many musical numbers of Animal Farm, and finally performed them admirably over the course of the three shows, accompanied solely by Michael.

No doubt this will not be the Palace Youth Theatre’s last foray into musical theatre, and it’s unlikely to be Michael’s last time working with the Palace Youth Theatre.
